Steven Y. Solomon is an associate who concentrates his practice in general business law, financing transactions, licensing and intellectual property.
Mr. Solomon represents clients in all facets of the formation, ownership and operation of business entities. His experience includes shareholder and other owner and management agreements; acquisition, merger and sale transactions; venture capital transactions; commercial financing; distribution, supply and manufacturing transactions; technology licensing and transfer transactions; protection of intellectual property, including trademark and copyright applications; joint venture agreements; employment, consulting, confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements; disputes among business owners; and general business counseling.

Mr. Solomon received his J. D. Degree from American University, Washington College of Law and received his B.A. degree from Lafayette College.

Mr. Solomon is a member of the Monroe County, New York State and American Bar Associations.
Previous Experience
Prior to joining Merzbach Law Office, Mr. Solomon was an associate with Rochester-based law firm Woods, Oviatt Gilman LLP, where he practiced in the firm’s Corporate Department.
